Community Posts or Questions
Community posts and questions are a place for neighbors and visitors to help each other with local knowledge: where to eat, what to do, who to hire, and what to know before you go. Keep it like a good conversation with a local.
The short version: be helpful, be honest, be kind. Share what you actually know.
Posting
- Post real questions and give real answers. Firsthand experience is the most useful thing here.
- You can post a question anonymously. The same rules apply either way.
- If a business is yours, say so when you answer about it. Owners are welcome here, and honesty about the connection makes your answer more trusted, not less.
- One account per person. Do not post under multiple names.
Not allowed
- Spam, advertising, or self-promotion dressed up as an answer. Businesses have their own pages and updates for that.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or attacks on other people.
- Personal information about someone else: phone numbers, addresses, photos of private individuals, or anything posted without their permission.
- Content that is false or misleading, including reviews of experiences that did not happen.
- Anything illegal, or content you do not have the right to post (including other people’s photos and text).
How moderation works
Posts go live right away and are reviewed after the fact. We may hide or remove posts that break these guidelines, and we may suspend or close accounts for repeat or serious violations. We do not edit the words in your posts; if something needs fixing, it comes down and you are welcome to repost it right.
If you think a removal was a mistake, email hello@whereto30a.com and we will take another look.
A note on recommendations
Answers here are opinions and experiences from community members, not professional advice and not endorsements by WhereTo30A. Check the important details (hours, prices, availability) with the business before you rely on them.
