Copyright policy
WhereTo30A respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects people who use the site to do the same. This page explains how to report copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), how to respond if your content was removed, and our repeat infringer policy.

If you believe content on WhereTo30A infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated copyright agent (below) that includes:
- Your full name and, if you are acting for someone else, the rights holder’s name.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed, or a representative list if there are several.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough information for us to locate it (a link to the page is best).
- Your contact information: mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

Please note that knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice can create legal liability under Section 512(f) of the Copyright Act.
What happens next
When we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material and notify the person who posted it. If the notice does not include the required information, we may not be able to act on it.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent with:
- Your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, for any district where WhereTo30A may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will forward your counter-notice to the original complainant. If they do not notify us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material.
Repeat infringers
Accounts of repeat infringers will be terminated. We may also remove content and restrict posting by anyone who repeatedly submits infringing material, with or without an account.
