How to plan an Inlet Beach week
Think in routes, not vibes. I map three recurring trips: groceries on 98, beach access on 30A, and one or two “go east or go central” nights where we accept drive time as part of the plan.
Before you go
- Book dinners near Rosemary or Seagrove early if you want prime weekend slots
- Confirm which beach accesses your group is allowed to use
- Decide whether you are bringing bikes, and whether kids can realistically ride the distances you are imagining
- Re-check hours before you build a tight itinerary
Food worth planning
[[amigos-mexican-inlet-beach]] is the kind of easy win I like when nobody wants to dress up. For a bigger night, I look toward Rosemary or central 30A and treat it like an event, not a spontaneous drop-in.
Beach days and getting around
Leave buffer time whenever 30A is part of the route. I try to avoid stacking multiple cross-corridor trips in one afternoon.
If you are here with kids
Keep one dinner that is truly close to the house. Travel days with sand-covered kids do not need another 25-minute crawl.
If you are here without kids
Pick one reservation worth the drive, then keep the rest flexible. The east end shines when you stop treating every meal like a mission.
